Produced a number of Al alloy samples for electrochemical and salt fog testing using the Directed Vapor Deposition approach; One Al alloy showed excellent performance in salt fog testing; More than 3,000 hours in the scribed condition and; More than 4,000 hours in the inscribed condition; Further development of this coating is in progress.
