The group of inventions relates to anti-corrosion hybrid galvanic zinc coatings containing nanodispersed particles of an organic corrosion inhibitor - polyaniline; composition of the electrolyte and method for their electrodeposition. These coatings demonstrate several times higher corrosion resistance than traditional zinc coatings, including in environments with high concentrations of chlorine ions. The hybrid coatings can find easy industrial application - they are deposited in single-phase low-acid electrolytes in standard galvanized baths. The aqueous dispersion of polyaniline is a suitable component of the hybrid coating not only because of its high efficiency as a corrosion inhibitor of metals and alloys, including zinc and iron alloys, but also because it is resistant to chemical and thermal influences. The dispersion is applied in low concentrations and it is obtained from available raw materials. The electrolytes decommissioned do not require any additional disposal, since when the electrolyte is neutralized at pH 6, the polyaniline settles spontaneously in terms of quantity. The research was funded by The Bulgarian National Science Fund under contract 09/6 of 15.12.2016.
