The invention relates to the use of a combination of baclofen and acamprosate or torasemide, or salts or derivatives thereof, having at least part of the activity of the parent drug and a Tanimoto similarity index greater than 0.4 with a parent drug, or sustained release formulations thereof for enhancing memory and/or efficiency of memory related mental functions in a healthy subject not suffering from a condition having a negative impact on his memory and/or memory related mental functions.
