A SINGLE STEP PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF CU2ZNSNSE4 THIN FILMS

The present disclosure provides a single step process for the preparation of Cu2ZnSnSe4 thin films, for use in solar cells, by electron beam vacuum evaporation technique. The process includes the use of a pre-synthesized Cu2ZnSnSe4 material as a source of the components, thereby achieving the evaporation and deposition of all the components of the thin film in a single step and at low temperature, thereby eliminating the sequential or successive deposition of the components in multiple steps and drawbacks related thereto.
