The present disclosure relates to a burner having a mixing tube configured to receive a fuel from a fuel inlet and receive primary air from at least one primary air inlet, and mix the received fuel and primary air to obtain a mixture. The burner further includes a preheating zone operatively coupled at one end of the mixing tube and configured to receive the mixture, a plurality of perforated plates configured on the preheating zone so as to form a combustion chamber between the plurality of perforated plates and the preheating zone, wherein the combustion chamber is configured to perform combustion on the mixture. The burner further includes at least one secondary tube that receives secondary air and discharges the received secondary air into the combustion chamber to enhance combustion efficiency of the mixture.
