A FUEL EFFICIENT, PORTABLE, NATURAL DRAFT, FRONT LOADING BIOMASS FIRED DOMESTIC COOK STOVE

A low cost portable domestic stove is designed and developed which can burn fuelwood with less emission of smoke. These cook stoves are operated by natural draft and able to reduce 30% fuel consumption, besides drastic reduction of smoke, carbon monoxide, carbon monoxide gas and particulate matter (black carbon) into the environment. So this is used for cooking in smokeless condition with reduced fuelwood consumption and pollution. The portable domestic cook stove of 0.65 to 1.1 kg/hr are designed and developed for domestic purposes which is fuel efficient and having low emission rate. The Thermal Efficiency of this stove is varying from 26.0 to 28.0 %, and emissions like CO (2.81 to 3.03 g/MJd) and PM (212.6 to 300.0 mg/MJd) are within the BIS limits. The power of this stove is 0.88 to 1.64 kW. This stove is a portable multi fuel natural draft with front fuel feeding. This is a metallic stove where inside combustion chamber were made with mild steel or stainless steel flats shaped as ring placed one upon other with air space for entering of secondary air.
