INTEGRATION OF RELIABILITY MODULE IN PLM SOLUTION

Integration of reliability module in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Solution. Product lifecycle management (PLM) is the process of managing the entire lifecycle of a product from inception, through engineering design and manufacture, to service and disposal of manufactured products. PLM integrates people, data, processes and business systems and provides a product information backbone for companies and their extended enterprise. Present invention provides the reliability of the product by integrating the reliability module in PLM. The product is tested under highly accelerated stress condition and identified the failure data of the product within the short span of time. The failure date is integrated in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) which helps to announces the wananty period of the product, reduce product time to market, improve product quality, increase profitability and for the fiiture references.
