A NOVEL METHOD FOR SYNTHESIZING CHROMATOGRAPHIC RESINS BASED ON DENDRONS.

The present invention discloses an improved method for the synthesis of chromatographic resins based on dendrons. The method comprises the incorporation of dendrons, molecules of a branched structure into the chromatographic resin. The second step consists of functionalizing the dendrons functional groups with ligands. Said method applies to a wide variety of materials of different nature for the synthesis of chromatographic resins for a wide variety of chromatographic processes such as HIC, IEXC, RPC, and AC, among others.
