The invention relates to a pump head for a metering device for dispensing a fluid in a metered manner. The pump head can be attached to a storage container, for example a bottle, which is designed to store the fluid to be dispensed. The pump head and the storage vessel together form the metering device according to the invention. The pump head is characterized by comprising an air passage, by means of which air from the outside can be transferred into the storage vessel during the pumping process in order to equalize the pressure. The invention additionally relates to applications of the pump head and the metering device.
