Study of automobile meter from universal point of view - efficiency of ambient meter device

We have developed an experimental meter called an 'ambient meter', which alerts drivers of an imminent emergency while driving. In an emergency, the ambient color of the meter turns red, while in normal conditions it is illuminated in blue (Fig. 1). In this study, the effectiveness of the ambient meter is confirmed by comparing the reaction of drivers using a normal meter and the ambient meter.
