The invention refers to the production and application of B. subtillis in the control of carbon in ears of corn, a disease originated by the basidiomycete S. reilianum fungus. The obtained product reduces the percentage of incidence of the disease in field due to its antifungal action; in addition, it increases the corn crop productivity, generating an economic benefit to producers. The present invention is unique, since it proposes a production process for obtaining a product that works as a disease controlling agent, the invention being environmentally friendly, and having a stimulating effect in the production of corn; on the other hand, the invention includes the method for applying the same in field.
