Well recovery assembly for recovering a well, comprising a whipstock adapter having a first end that is connectable to an end portion of a conductor pipe having a flow channel. The whipstock adapter further comprises a stab-in portion near a second end of the whipstock adapter and an adapter flow channel extending from the first end to the second end, wherein the adapter flow channel is configured to be connected to the flow channel of the conductor pipe. The assembly also comprises a whipstock comprising a first end that is releasably connected to the end portion of the conductor pipe, a deflection portion end that is configured for, during use and after disconnecting the conductor pipe from the whipstock, deflecting at least the end portion of the conductor pipe and a receiving opening that extends substantially coaxially with a longitudinal whipstock axis through the whipstock towards a second end, wherein the receiving opening is configured for receiving the stab-in portion of the whipstock adapter. In use of the assembly, the adapter flow channel and the conductor pipe flow channel are in fluid connection with each other to define a fluid path. The invention also relates to a drilling installation and a method for well recovery.
