Stable pharmaceutical solution formulations for pressurised metered dose inhalers

An aerosol solution composition for an aerosol inhaler includes an active material, the propellant comprising a hydrofluoroalkane, a cosolvent and an optionally low volatility component, improves the mass median aerodynamic diameter (MMAD) of the aerosol particles of the actuating to inhalator. Composition is stablized using a small amount of inorganic acid by it, and one can suitably have partly or entirely that its inner metal surfaces is made of stainless steel, and anodised aluminium or is lined with an inert organic coating.
