The invention relates to a process for preparing nanohydrogels for controlled release of medicaments, with biomedical applications. According to the invention, the process consists in radical polymerization of polyethylene glycol diacrylates with molecular masses of 600...4000 Da in reverse emulsion initiated with a redox system ammonium persulphate N,N,N',N'-tetramethylene-diamine, at the ambient temperature, in continuous cyclohexane medium containing two emulsifiers, to result in gels with dimensions of 70...150 nm and high purity and biocompatibilty.
