The invention relates to a testing device for cyclic fatigue consisting of tension and torsion, meant to be used for determining fatigue limit. According to the invention, the device can be attached to a universal machine for fatigue test by tension or bending of pulsating type and comprises an interchangeable cam (16) having an inclined channel which converts the alternating translation motion of the central shaft (12) of the test machine into a rotation motion and a translation motion, thereby subjecting the test piece (6) fixed in the fixed jaws (1, 8) of the test machine to a simultaneous torsion and tension stress.
