A device for projecting a light shape with clear and precise contours onto a generic surface comprises a preferably closed casing (1), which has at least one pair of diametrally opposite surfaces (2a, 2b), a light emitter (5) inserted in a point of one of said surfaces (2a), which emits light towards the opposite surface (2b), which is provided with a through hole (W) for the passage of said light, and a heat sink (6) for dissipating the heat produced by said emitter, and wherein the casing (1) has a matt black inner surface and wherein the emitter (5) is a punctiform light source, preferably an LED or a laser, which generates a substantially directional beam of light, which, passing through the hole (W) made in the surface opposite to the emitter, generates on a surface in front of the device a figure with the profile defined by the contours of the aforesaid hole (W).
