A method of manufacturing a curved surface screen having a desired curved shape using a flat display panel (100a) having a first substrate (110) and a second substrate (120), comprising: trimming the external surfaces of the first substrate (110) and the second substrate (120), except in the edge portions of the first substrate (110) and the second substrate (120) to reduce, in the cut portions, the thicknesses of the first substrate (110) and the second substrate (120) at a predetermined thickness; joining a polarizer (170) on at least one of the cut outer surfaces of the first substrate (110) and the second substrate (120); characterized by joining to the display panel a reinforcing plate (140, 150) that has the same curved shape as the desired curved shape and has light transmission characteristics using an adhesive layer (191, 193) that is formed along the edges of the display panel in the form of a closed figure in a state in which the trimmed flat display panel to which the polarizer (170) is attached is bent to the desired curved shape; and forming on a surface of the polarizer (170) a dam element (180) that supports an internal surface of the adhesive layer (191, 193) after joining the polarizer (170) before forming the adhesive layer (191, 193) , wherein the reinforcing plate (140, 150) is attached to the display panel in a state separated from the outer surface cut out of one of the first substrate (110) and the second substrate (120) to form a space of air between them.
