Packaging (1) for the transport and / or storage of radioactive materials, comprising a packaging body (1a), which internally defines a cavity (10) to accommodate said radioactive materials, and at least one shock absorber (20) mounted on the outside of the packing body, the packing body (1a) comprising an outer surface (12) provided with at least a first outer surface (12a) and a second outer surface (12b) that are separated by an edge (14 ) which is covered by said shock absorber (20), said shock absorber (20) comprising a metal damping structure comprising: a) a first recess (22) crossed by an imaginary straight line (D1) passing through a center of gravity ( G) of the packaging, and by a point (P1) of the edge (14); b) a second recess (28) arranged so that it faces one of the first and second outer surfaces (12a, 12b); and c) a metal wall (30) of plastic deformation damping, at least 5 mm thick and delimiting the first and second recesses (22, 28) on each side thereof, said damper (20) presenting: - a first part (20a) in front of said first outer surface (12a) of the packaging body (1a); - a second part (20b) in front of said second outer surface (12b) of the packaging body (1a), the second part of the first part being separated by said first recess (22); the packaging for the transport and / or storage of radioactive materials being characterized by the fact that the shock absorber has, associated with each of said first and second parts (20a, 20b), anti-slip means that allow, in case of fall on the shock absorber ( 20), maintaining said at least one of the first and second parts (20a, 20b) in relation to its associated outer surface (12a, 12b) of the packing body, in a direction away from the edge (14).
