The invention refers to a method and a device for the quicknavigation of users through the user interface of a plant formanufacturing a product from thermoplastic, an extruder beingoperated for plastification of a thermoplastic, and to a method anda plant for manufacturing a product from thermoplastic.The invention allows quick changing between user views of amachine or plant control, wherein an input device for enteringrepresentative signals from a customized input library is used,which signals are linked to actions in a relational database,wherein the actions cause a rapid change between user views of amachine or plant control.The rapid change between user views makes the machine or plantcontrol faster, and the customized input library makes thecontrol more intuitive.
