DEVICE FOR ASSISTING AN AUTONOMOUS-DRIVE VEHICLE DRIVER IN RESPECT OF THE TIME-MANAGEMENT OF TASKS

A device (DA) makes it possible to assist the driver of an autonomous-drive vehicle (V) and comprising equipment able to carry out tasks and a screen (EA1) displaying information representative of the carrying out of a task in progress and/or of a result of a task in progress. This device (DA) comprises analysis means (MAN) able to estimate the total duration of a task or of a driving phase, and, when this task or driving phase is begun, to estimate the duration remaining before the estimated scheduled end of this task or driving phase, and then in triggering the display on the screen (EA1) of a depiction of the remaining duration as a supplement to the corresponding information, whereas when this task or driving phase must begin at an estimated instant, to trigger the display on the screen (EA1) of information representative of this envisaged task or driving phase and of the duration remaining before the estimated instant.
