An articulation (10) for a torso orthosis comprising two shaped shells for adhering to the torso of a user, said articulation (10) comprising at least two joints (11,12) to mutually connect the edges (13,14) of the two shells of the torso orthosis. At least one of the joints (11,12) comprises two connecting elements including hinges (15,16,17,18), each hinge comprising a first fastening element (19) and a second fastening element (20) which are mutually hinged in a rotatable manner about a first operating axis (A). The first fastening elements (19) of the hinges (15,16,17,18) may be fastened to the shells and the second fastening elements (20) of the hinges (15,16,17,18) are interconnected in a rotating manner about a second operating axis (B) which is perpendicular to the first operating axis (A).
