摘要
Problem to be solved: The glycosylation of a protein is very sensitive to in vivo and in vitro environmental changes, and is thus directly related to various diseases including cancer. Thus, research intended to utilize the same in diagnostic systems have been conducted. A disease diagnosing method using a sugar chain is very efficient, but when a sugar chain is isolated and used for a diagnosis, much time and effort are required in pretreating samples, analyzing mass, and processing data, and an undesired artificial composition may be produced. Means for solving the problem: To minimize such a problem, a novel cancer diagnosing and analyzing method of analyzing a glycosylated protein as it is and applying the same to a cancer diagnosis has been invented. In the present invention, by cutting a disulfide bond of polymer-structured haptoglobin, an alpha chain and a beta chain are separated, and then a total molecular weight is measured, so a glycosylation pattern of the beta chain is analyzed. Without separating a sugar chain, only a minimum pretreatment of cutting a disulfide bond is performed, and then a glycosylation pattern of a protein is recognized with a short mass analyzing time of within 10 minutes and rapid data processing. Consequently, the present method can be utilized as a rapid and accurate diagnosing method when diagnosing diseases.
