The present invention relates to the field of computer configurations. Provided are a method for code-based matching to common phrase library and an intelligent classification of an input method in a computer. The method comprises: recording code information set by a user and a corresponding common phrase library (S101); reading code information inputted by the user and the corresponding common phrase library (S102); determining whether the code information currently inputted by the user is the code information previously set by the user (S103); if so, then regarding the user as having entered a corresponding input state and activating a phrase selection system for the corresponding common phrase library; and if not, then not activating a corresponding configuration of a phrase library (S105). The method can increase typing speed, remove invalidity and interference, and raise typing efficiency. For text input during work, the invention can raise work efficiency and allow a user to create a personal common phrase library. For casual use, the invention allows a user to establish a personalized text-use habit, enhance a personal characteristic, and improve user experience.
