STEREOLITHOGRAPHIC 3D PRINTER AND 3D PRINTING METHOD

A stereolithographic 3D printer and a method therefor. The printer comprises a photosensitive resin pool (1) provided with a transparent bottom wall (11) and a circumferential wall (12) arranged on the bottom wall (11), the bottom wall (11) and the circumferential wall (12) constitute a first accommodating space (13); a support unit (2) arranged above the photosensitive resin pool (1) and used for supporting a printed object, the support unit (2) being capable of moving vertically; a LCD display unit (3) arranged within the first accommodating space (13) and covering the bottom wall (11); and a light source (4) arranged outside of the first accommodating space (13) and covering the bottom wall (11). The 3D printer and the 3D printing method increase the intensity of a light shone on the LCD display unit (3) from the light source (4) by 25 times, thus increasing the utilization efficiency of the light source. The stereolithographic 3D printer has reduced constituent parts and inexpensive manufacturing costs.
