The present invention relates to a method for purifying horse oil using a citrus-based fruit or dregs thereof and, more specifically, to a method for purifying horse oil wherein a liquid-phase horse oil is allowed to pass through a filter containing a citrus-based fruit or dregs thereof as a filler to extract active ingredients effective to deodorize a horse oil, thereby simplifying the deodorization of the horse oil and allowing more active ingredients to be contained in the horse oil, thus reducing production costs and improving an effect of deodorizing the horse oil.
