The present invention relates to a method for purifying horse oil and a cosmetic composition using the horse oil purified thereby. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for purifying horse oil and a cosmetic composition using the horse oil purified thereby, which can provide improved quality horse oil being safe to the human body by optimizing conditions of hydrothermal extraction, improve economical efficiency by enabling efficient separation of refined horse oil into liquid horse oil and solid horse oil, and increase efficiency of using horse oil in the cosmetic composition.
