A device for monitoring dynamic radial deformation and dynamic tension of a steel rope, comprising a base frame, a drive system, a tension and compression detection system, and a dynamic deformation monitoring system. The drive system comprises an electric motor (2) connected to a reel (7) by means of a coupling A (3), a speed reducer (4), and a coupling B (5). The outer side of a reel baffle plate (6) is attached to a brake disc (13). The tension and compression detection system comprises a servo electric cylinder (18). An S-shaped tension sensor (17) is separately connected to the servo electric cylinder (18) and a steel rope clamp (16). The surface of the reel (7) is provided with a friction pad (25). A steel rope (24) is wound on a double-broken-line rope slot in the surface of the friction pad (25). The rear surface of the friction pad (25) is axially provided with multiple sensor mounting slots along the reel (7). A weighting-type pressure sensor is provided in the sensor mounting slot. The dynamic deformation monitoring system comprises a two-dimensional laser sensor (9). By means of the foregoing settings, the present invention can simulate the characteristic of a tension applied on a steel rope under various working conditions, and precisely detect the deformation and the tension of each layer of steel rope.
