COMPUTER-ASSISTED FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING METHOD AND SYSTEM ON THE BASIS OF TRANSFORMING KNOWLEDGE INTO SKILLS

A computer-assisted foreign language teaching method and system on the basis of transforming knowledge into skills. Said method comprises: teaching a lesson text comprising of two stages, transforming knowledge into comprehension skills, and transforming knowledge into expressive skills, wherein both stages are taught, or one of the stages is taught independently; a human-computer interaction method, whereby a computer is used to put forth questions, so that a student answers a number of questions which are corrected by the computer, wherein the questions relate to a specific meaning of a polysemous word within a specific context and the hierarchical structure of a sentence. The computer putting forth questions relating to the hierarchical structure of a sentence according to a sequence of layer-by-layer construction during the stage of transforming knowledge into comprehension skills: (S1); during the stage of transforming knowledge expressive skills, the computer prompting set and unset foreign language phrases according to the sequence of layer-by-layer construction, until a student may express the meaning of an entire sentence using the foreign language (S2); after the student clicks on a certain set phrase shown on screen, the computer displays a knowledge point relating to the set phrase; after the student clicks on a certain grammatical term shown on screen, the computer displays a knowledge point relating to said grammatical term.
