The splicing screen (61, 62) comprises at least one main display area (401, 603, 606) and a bezel display area (402) located at the edge of the main display area (401, 603, 606); the main display area (401, 603, 606) is used for displaying a first part of display picture, and the bezel display area (402) is used for displaying a second part of display picture other than the first part of display picture. The method comprises: calculating the splicing mode of the display picture (201); and displaying, according to the splicing mode, different parts of the picture in the main display area (401, 603, 606) and the bezel display area (402) correspondingly. The driving apparatus (30) for a splicing screen comprises a picture clipping module (301) and a picture splicing and displaying module (302).
