HOSPITAL SELF-SERVICE PAYMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD

Disclosed are a hospital self-service payment system and method. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a medical payment request of a patient from a payment terminal device; parsing, according to the medical payment request, a serial number of a department that has been consulted by the patient out of an electronic medical record; determining, according to the serial number of the department that has been consulted, a partition code of a partitioned database needing to be accessed by the medical payment request (S33); adding the partition code to the medical payment request, and forwarding the medical payment request to a database middle ware (S34); connecting, according to the partition code of the medical payment request, the database middle ware to the corresponding partitioned database in a payment database (S35); generating a medical payment list of the patient according to medical expense data in the connected partitioned database; and receiving a payment amount from the payment terminal device, and performing medical payment settlement according to the medical payment list (S38). The method is capable of responding to medical payment requests of different patients accurately when dealing with different medical payment requests at the same time, thereby ensuring the correctness of medical payment.
