The method comprises: detecting whether a timing starting condition is currently achieved, the timing starting condition being that a user is in front of the height-adjustable table (101); detecting the use posture of the user (102); matching a corresponding reminding time according to the use posture and starting timing (103); and when the user maintains the same posture until a pre-set reminding time is reached, a reminding unit reminding the user of the height-adjustable table to change the use posture (104).
