A wristband-based method for determining human emotions, comprising: step one, collecting three-axis acceleration data of a wristband; step two, a processor calculating the current number of steps per minute of a user according to the three-axis acceleration data of step one; step three, the processor determining a movement type of the user in the current minute according to the current number of steps per minute of the user, the movement types comprising rest, walking and running; step four, a heart rate sensor collecting heart rate data, and the processor calculating an average heart rate value of current 1-3 minutes and saving the same, the processor storing an average value v of the average heart rate values of at least five groups of most recent 1-3 minutes, and determining a current emotion of the user according to the heart rate values and the movement type of the user.
