MEASURING CELL FOR RAMAN SPECTROSCOPY AT A SOLID-LIQUID INTERFACE AND USES THEREOF

According to the invention, provision is made of a measuring cell for Raman spectroscopy at a solid-liquid interface. The measuring cell essentially consists of a main body and at least parts of a working electrode, reference electrode and counter electrode. In the measuring cell according to the invention, a part of the working electrode forms the base of the measuring cell that is in contact with an electrolyte, with this part of the working electrode being electrically contacted at a location in the measuring cell that is not in contact with the electrolyte. This brings about an avoidance of unwanted potential shifts already at very low electrolyte quantities and an improved quality, resolution and standard deviations of the spectra recorded by the measuring cell over the prior art. Arranging the second part of the working electrode in a recess on the lower side of the main body brings about simple and fast cleaning of the measuring cell. Moreover, uses of the measuring cell according to the invention are proposed.
