The number of the petals is the sum total of the number of multiple petals 1a positioned on the outer ring side and the number of multiple small petals 1b positioned on the inner ring side. According to this constitution, the Delosperma plant 1 can have such a characteristic property that the number of petals is much larger than those in the conventional varieties (the number of the petals is about twice or more larger than those in the conventional varieties).
