This pen-input-device film evaluation method includes: a first step for moving a pen-input-device film relatively to a pen along the surface of the pen-input-device film while keeping the tip of the pen in contact with the surface of the pen-input-device film, and obtaining measurement data indicating at least one of the amplitude of the pen and the acceleration of the pen when the pen vibrates at a predetermined vibration frequency while moving; and a second step for comparing the measurement data obtained in the first step with reference data.
