A microscope objective (200), comprising a first lens group (201), a second lens group (202), a third lens group (203), a fourth lens group (204), a fifth lens group (205), a sixth lens group (206), a seventh lens group (207), an eighth lens group (208), a ninth lens group (209) and a tenth lens group (210) arranged along an optical axis from left to right in sequence; the first lens group (201) has negative focal power; the second lens group (202) comprises doublet lenses, and a first lens has positive focal power while a second lens has negative focal power; the third lens group (203) has positive focal power; each of the fourth lens group (204) and the fifth lens group (205) comprises doublet lenses, and a first lens of each group has negative focal power while a second lens has positive focal power; the sixth lens group (206) has positive focal power; the seventh lens group (207) has negative focal power; the eighth lens group (208) has negative focal power; the ninth lens group (209) has positive focal power; the tenth lens group (210) has positive focal power. Also disclosed is a wide-field and high-resolution imaging system having the microscope objective (200).
