Disclosed are a virtual/real crossover interactive dating system and a method therefor, especially a dating method for realizing interaction in the real world by means of guidance from a virtual world. A user can acquire, by means of a portable device or a real-world terminal apparatus, a real-world electronic map generated by a servo device, and when travelling in the real world, acquire geographical positions of other users, who comply with preset dating conditions within a specified range and also have dating intensions. The plurality of users communicate with each other via a dating interactive sub-module of the portable device. Upon agreement, both sides can make arrangements to meet in person. Thus, not only real-time match making can be made during street stroll, and the chances of being deceived can also be reduced. The present invention can increase the probability of dating success and meanwhile can reduce the embarrassment during unilateral expression or rejection of romantic interest during direct meeting.
