Disclosed are a transgenic soybean event GC1-1 exogenous insert flanking sequence and an application thereof; the high-yield transgenic soybean event GC1-1 has at least one insertion site, and an exogenous insert 3'-end flanking sequence of the insertion site is shown in SEQ ID No. 1. Further provided is a primer for use in detecting the flanking sequence, such as the nucleotide sequences shown in SEQ ID No. 2 and SEQ ID No. 3.
