Provided are a data processing method and apparatus applied to an electronic map, and a mobile terminal, relating to the field of electronic maps, and the field of data processing. The data processing method comprises: monitoring a user operation on an electronic map and acquiring operating data reflecting the user operation; according to the operating data and based on a range on the electronic map, determining whether the user operation is valid; and feeding back indication information responding to the user operation based on a determination result. The technical solution provided can support a user in flexibly and rationally delimiting a range in real time based on an electronic map, improving the user experience.
