PURPOSE: A system and a method for framing a call quality map are provided to confirm the call quality of the service area of each base station in real time by collecting location data and quality data, displaying them on an electronic map in real time, and making a precise call coverage and quality map. CONSTITUTION: A call quality map framing system(200) is comprised of a mobile terminal(210), a wireless base station(220), an MSC(230), a quality map management server(240), a quality map database(242), the Internet(250), and a client computer(260). The mobile terminal(210) executes a wireless phone call through a mobile communication network, and carries out location registration for the wireless base station(220), which excises the jurisdiction over the present location of the mobile terminal(210). The quality map management server(240) requests the MSC(230) to transmit location data and quality data for a plurality of mobile terminals within the jurisdiction of the wireless base station(220) or the mobile terminals registered in the wireless base station(220). The quality map management server(240) receives the location data and the quality data from the MSC(230), maps them onto an electronic map, and stores it in the quality map database(242). If the mobile terminal(210) makes a request for a call quality map, the quality map management server(240) provides it to the mobile terminal(210). The quality map database(242) stores geographical information for the service area of each wireless base station as the image data of an electronic map.
