Embodiments of the present invention relate to a display device, enabling an external system transmitting image data to directly control a set gamma curve in the display device with a controller of the display device. According to the embodiments of the present invention, the external system can directly adjust the set gamma curve in a power management integrated circuit by transmitting a gamma curve control command by using an I2C communication method or through a control pin allocated in a communication means with the controller. Therefore, the performance of image quality can be improved while adjusting the gamma curve in accordance with the use environment and characteristics of the display device by expressing image data using the whole RGB data based on the gamma curve adjusted by the external system, in the display device.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
