Nanofiber for storage and delivery of nitric oxide

Provided is a nanofiber capable of allowing nitric oxide (NO) to be gradually released as a storage and delivery means of nitric oxide over a long period of time. To achieve this purpose, the nanofiber of the present invention has a network structure in which mercapto alkoxysilane having NO stored therein, a polymer and backbone silane having a functional group to be subject to the sol-gel reaction are coupled to each other by a siloxane bridge (Si-O-Si). NO provides a nanofiber which stably exists in the network structure. The nanofiber can control storage properties and delivery properties of NO in accordance with concentration of mercapto alkoxysilane having nitric oxide, which is used in a manufacturing process, stored therein, the type of mercapto alkoxysilane, and the type of a solvent. Moreover, since NO is released under various conditions, a release speed and a release amount of NO can be controlled by properly controlling the conditions. Finally, an NO storage procedure is easily performed.
