The present invention relates to an alkaline waste water neutralizing equipment, which comprises: a treatment tank body for containing alkaline wastewater (raw water) and causing a neutralization reaction with carbon dioxide gas; a raw water inlet provided at one side of the treatment tank main body; a treated water outlet provided on the other side of the treatment tank body; a carbon dioxide gas injection line provided in the raw water inlet; and an agitator for agitating the raw water and the carbon dioxide gas, and to a method for neutralizing alkaline waste water using the same, and according to the alkaline waste water neutralizing equipment and the method for neutralizing alkaline waste water using the same, the carbon dioxide gas and the alkaline wastewater are stirred and neutralized at a high speed, so that a neutralization reaction can be performed with high efficiency and maintenance can be facilitated.
