Creating a topic index using natural language processing

Systems and methods for generating a topic index for a conversation event and generating an item of content based on the topic index are disclosed. The method includes extracting a plurality of topics from a first content item corresponding to a dialogue event, and generating a topic index for the dialogue event. A topic index associates each of a plurality of topics with a content segment from a first content item. The method includes identifying a subset of one or more topics within a plurality of topics and generating a second content item comprising an individual content segment of each of one or more topics in a subset of topics .
