Disclosed are a device and a method to provide a banking service based on a shared bank account. If there is a shared bank account shared by a plurality of members, a plurality of secret keys for approving a payment transfer are issued and provided to each of the members, and then, when a request for a payment transfer to the shared bank account is received from a terminal of a first member, an electronic signature for the terminal of the first member is obtained to primarily authenticate the terminal of the first member, and then, electronic signatures for terminals of the other members are obtained to secondarily authenticate the other members. The secret keys are allocated to each of the members one by one and the terminal of each of the members is requested for the transmission of the allocated secret keys, and then, if the secret keys, received from the terminal of each of the members, all match the secret keys allocated to each of the members, the approval of the request for the payment transfer is finally completed. As such, the present invention is capable of enhancing the security of processing a payment transfer to a shared bank account having a plurality of members.
