The present invention relates to an iodine adsorbent which is capable of efficiently removing iodine and contains bismuth graphene oxide, a fixed bed column including the same, and a molded article thereby. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for producing bismuth graphene oxide by carrying out a reaction between bismuth and graphene oxide, and a use of bismuth graphene oxide by using the produced bismuth graphene oxide as an iodine adsorbent.
