The present invention relates to a gluconobacter uchimurae GFC-cellul15 strain and biocellulose produced therefrom. The gluconobacter uchimurae GFC-cellul15 strain (KCTC 13238BP) provided from the present invention, can produce biocellulose with high yield. In addition, since the bio-cellulose produced from the strain is excellent in water retention ability and oil retaining ability, the effect is excellent when applied to a mask pack.
