The present invention relates to a Mn-based magnetocaloric alloy represented as a composition formula of Mn_(100-a)X_a, where a is greater than or equal to 30 and less than or equal to 60, and X is at least one type selected among Sn, Ga, and Sb. The Mn-based magnetocaloric alloy according to the present invention has an advantage of manufacturing a phase having an excellent magnetocaloric effect while manufacturing a homogeneous alloy.
