The present invention relates to a method for producing 20(S)-ginsenoside Rg3 or 20(S)-ginsenoside Rh2 using novel ginsenoside glycosidase, in an attempt to obtain high efficiency and high purity 20(S)-ginsenoside Rg3 or 20(S)-ginsenoside Rh2. According to the production method of the present invention, it is possible to mass-produce, in a safe and efficient way, 20(S)-ginsenoside Rg3 or 20(S)-ginsenoside Rh2 which is rare and in a minor form existing in trace amounts in ginseng or processed ginseng. Particularly, owing to simple processes and high production efficiency, mass-production becomes possible for industrial purposes.
