The present invention relates to a reactor for a hydrogen generation experiment using metallic fuel. According to the present invention, the reactor for a hydrogen generation experiment using metal fuel comprises: a reactor body provided with a reaction space where the metallic fuel and an aqueous catalyst solution are reacted inside the reactor, and having an opened upper part; a cover covering the opened upper part of the reactor body; a metal mesh assembly separately disposed by a certain distance, including a plurality of metal meshes having a net knot becoming smaller toward a lower side, and disposed in the reaction space; and an observation window coupled to an observation hole formed on a side surface of the reactor body, and observing the reaction space from the outside.
